A songwriter once penned the inspiring words: "If I can help somebody as I travel along,  If I can cheer somebody with a word or song, If I can show somebody how they are traveling wrong, Then my living shall not be in vain."

Those words beautifully reflect the life and legacy of a woman whose journey was marked by kindness, compassion, and service to others. As of June 20, 2026, the Whitaker and Williams families are preparing to celebrate a life truly worth celebrating. After courageously battling illness, Anna Whitaker Williams received her complete healing and peacefully exchanged the cares of this world for eternal rest.

Services honoring her labor of love, will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 27, 2026, in the sanctuary of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. She will lie in state one hour prior to the service, beginning at 11 am, allowing family and friends an opportunity to pay their respects before the Celebration of Life begins.

Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the Enfield Memorial Cemetery.
