The task has been given to the S. Jones F. and C. to advise everyone that Mr. Ben Lee Walker Sr. departed from time, as we know, and entered into eternal time of everlasting peace on  March 17, 2025, at Nash UNC Medical Center.  

Services to honor Mr. Walker's journey on this side of Jordan have been finalized and will proceed thusly. A public viewing will be held 12 pm - 1 pm, Saturday, March 29, 2025 as he lie in repose at the altar of the St. Matthew Baptist Church, 813 New Hope Church Rd. Battleboro, NC. Following the viewing, a Celebration of Life will begin at 1 pm.

Mr. Walker and his loving family will be escorted to the St. Matthew Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
