As difficult as the loss of a loved one is, it’s extremely difficult during the holiday season. The staff of S. Jones F. and C. embrace the loving family of Mr. Benjamin Willie Jones, Jr., as they remember this precious link in the family's chain. "Bye," as he was affectionately called, retired from life’s fitful fevers on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, at the Nash UNC Medical Center.

“Bye” and his beloved late wife built a legacy together as the proud owners of V & B Carpet Services. With passion and skill, he founded the business to transform and enhance the beauty of homes and businesses alike.

The Obsequies for Mr. Jones are scheduled to commence on Friday, December 5, 2025. A public visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. During this period, the family will be present to receive friends and loved ones who wish to offer their condolences.

The Celebration of Life events will proceed with a Service of Remembrance on Saturday, December 6, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM in the sanctuary of St. Paul Baptist Church.

Committal Rites will take place at the Greater Saints Chapel Church Cemetery.
