With heartfelt sympathy, S. Jones F. and C. wish to share the news that Mr. Bernard Evans has transcended this earthly life. He answered his Heavenly Father's call on December 15, 2025 at the ECU North Hospital.

The "Last Mile" events honoring Mr. Evans and his esteemed family and friends will commence with a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the sanctuary of Lebanon Baptist Church, located in Halifax, NC. Mr. Evans will lie in state for one hour prior to the service, during which a public viewing will take place starting at 2:00 PM.

Immediately following the formalities in the sanctuary, Committal Rites will take place in the Lebanon Church Cemetery.
