With profound sadness and a deep sense of loss, S. Jones F and C stands in solidarity with the family of Mr. Carlton Maurice Lyons as they prepare to bid farewell and say, “Until We Meet Again.” Lovingly known as “Skeeter,” he gracefully set aside his beloved apron and tucked his cherished grilling utensils away, leaving behind cherished memories when he departed this earthly life on September 27, 2025.

Skeeter's Life Remembering Services are finalized. The visitation will take place on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church in Sharpsburg, NC. This solemn occasion provides an opportunity for family and friends to come together in reflection and remembrance of Skeeter’s life and the significant impact he had on those around him.

Skeeter's family will conclude his Life's Remembrances with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 04, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Red Hill Baptist Church, Whitakers, NC.
