The Fisherman's Prayer

"God grant that I may live to fish, Until my dying day.
And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Lee Armstrong. Charles peacefully concluded his journey on June 15, 2025, while receiving care at the Nash UNC medical facility. His contributions and presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

The services commemorating the life of Mr. Armstrong will commence with a public viewing from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in the sanctuary of Jerusalem Baptist Church. This time will provide an opportunity for both friends and family to express their condolences. Following the viewing, a formal Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, during which attendees will gather to reflect on Mr. Armstrong's legacy.

Burial will take place in the Resthaven Memorial Garden.
