Obituary
It has become the sad duty that S. Jones F. and C. announce the earthly departure of Mr. Corey Dan Williams. Mr. Williams succumbed to the silent chambers of death on August 02, 2023 at the Nash UNC Medical Center.
Celebration of Life Events will begin on Friday, August 11, 2023 with a public visitation in the chapel of the Avent Chapel and Resource Center between the moments of 5pm and 7pm, as Corey lies in peaceful repose.
A formal Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 3 pm in the sanctuary of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
Interment will follow the services in the Resthaven Memorial Garden.
Among his survivors are his parents, Lucy Williams Silver and Calvin Silver and a host of loving siblings, other relatives and friends.
