"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." – Psalm 116:15
S. Jones F. and C. joins the Williams and Debreaux families as they prepare to honor the life and legacy of their beloved one, whose life reflected the characteristics of a faithful saint. Mrs. Cynthia Diana Williams Debreaux peacefully exchanged labor for her eternal reward on July 16, 2026, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she gained her angelic wings.
Services celebrating her life and legacy will begin with a Visitation and Inspirational Wake on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Smith Chapel Baptist Church, where Mrs. Debreaux faithfully served in many capacities throughout the years. During this time, family and friends are invited to reflect on cherished memories, celebrate the joy she brought to so many lives, and offer words of comfort, encouragement, or musical tributes to her loved ones.
A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life and works of Mrs. Debreaux will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, in the sanctuary of Smith Chapel Baptist Church.
Following the service, Mrs. Debreaux will be lovingly escorted by her family to the Smith Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, where the Committal Rites will be conducted, and she will be laid to rest.
