Darrell Anthony Higgs

With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. Darrell Anthony Higgs are preparing to say “So Long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and being assisted with this difficult task by S. Jones F. and C. Mr. Higgs put down the cares of this world on November 17, 2021 and transitioned into eternal rest at Duke Medical Center.

Mr. Higgs was the son of Carolyn S. Higgs of Whitakers, NC and the Late George Higgs.

There will be a time for friends to gather and spend meaningful moments with Darrell and his precious family on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 11am - 12pm with the family present from 11:30am - 12 pm, in the sanctuary of the Greater New Life Baptist Church 599 US Hwy 301, Whitakers, NC 27891. A Service to Celebrate his Life will begin at 12 pm.

Interment will be held in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
