As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, S. Jones F. and C. joins with loving arms wrapped around the loved ones of Deacon James Oliver Davis Sr, as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan with him.  Known to some as "Jo" and to many as "Jim", got his ticket and stepped on that Glory Train bound for Glory on Sunday, April 14, 2024 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Deacon Davis life, which was from his time of birth until the moment he entered into everlasting rest, are finalized by his cherished family. Deacon Davis will lie in state at the altar of the Greater New Testament Holy Church 5 pm - 7 pm, Friday, April 19, 2024 for a visitation. During this time, family and friends can embrace one another and reminisce on the good ole times.

A Service of Triumph will be held 11 am, Saturday, April 20, 2024 in the sanctuary of the Metropolitan Baptist Church, where served faithful as a Deacon.

Deacon Davis and his loving family will be escorted to the Gardens of Gethsemane for Committal Rites.
