Deacon Joshua Jones Sr.

With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Deacon Joshua Jones Sr. are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link in their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by the S. Jones F. and C. Deacon Jones went down to the ticketing office on Monday, June 21, 2021 and the train conductor Jesus Christ issued him a boarding pass bound for life in Paradise. 

Services to commemorate the legacy of Deacon Jones will begin with a public visitation on Saturday, June 26, 2021 between the hours of 6pm and 8pm in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

A Service of Love and Tribute to His Legacy will be held in the sanctuary of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church, where he served on Deacon's Ministry, beginning at 2 pm, Sunday, June 27, 2021. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service.

Committal Rites will be held at the graveside of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
