Psalms 116:15 beautifully reminds us that "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." It is with heartfelt sorrow that S. Jones F. and C. share the news of the passing of Deacon Oliver Nicholson Sr. Fondly known as "Ollie Boy" to many and "Big O" to others, he has now embarked on his journey aboard the Gospel Train, destined for Glory. Deacon Nicholson left this world on September 16, 2024, at Cone Health in Burlington, NC.

Moments have been etched in time for family and friends to pay homage to "Duck", during a visitation that will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm, Friday, September 26, 2025, in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. During this time, family and friends can embrace each other while reminiscing on the good old times shared with Deacon Nicholson.

A Home Going Celebration will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the sanctuary of the St. Paul Baptist Church, Enfield, NC.

Interment will take place in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
