Deacon Romeus "Jack" Garrett

During this moment of sadness, S. Jones F. and C. is offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Deacon Romeus Garrett. On Monday, January 23, 2023, "Jack", as he was lovingly called by his family and friends, drifted off to sleep in the arms of his Savior, as He stated, “Come unto Me and Rest”, while resting in the comfort of his home.

The hours of 5pm to 7pm on Friday, January 27, 2023 have been designated by the family for those who wish to come and pay their respects, during the visitation, that will be held in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

The Obsequies for Deacon Garrett will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, commencing at 2pm, in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, Whitakers, NC.

Jack and his loving family will be escorted to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
