As all remain in extreme sorrow and astonishing disbelief, S. Jones F. and C. has been charged with the solemn responsibility to announce that Deacon Wilbert Parks Sr. has transitioned from this life into life eternal. Deacon Parks made this permanent change of address on August 19, 2020 at the Vidant Edgecombe Medical Center.
A Glorious See You Later Celebration to Honor the Life of Deacon Parks will be held 12 pm, Sunday August 23, 2020 in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church, Whitakers, NC where he served faithful on the Deacon Board. His body will lie in state 11 am - 12 pm, prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Town of Whitakers Cemetery.
