As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, SJFC joins with loving arms, wrapped around the loved ones of Deaconess Brenda Louise Bryant Whitted, as we embark on the “Last Mile” on this side of the Jordan. Deaconess Whitted gained her "Angelic Wings" on February 26, 2024, while resting at the ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

A service to Celebrate the Life and Legacy of Deaconess Whitted will be held 12 pm, Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in the sanctuary of the Greater St. Mark Baptist Church, Whitakers, NC. She will lie in state one our prior to the service for a public viewing beginning at 11 am.

Interment will take place in the Greater St. Mark Church Cemetery.
