The Hymnologist described it best, when he wrote the words, “When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be...when we all see Jesus, we will sing and shout the Victory. That is exactly what Deaconess Sadie Mae Taylor has been doing since she crossed the swelling tide on November 15, 2022, at the UNC Nash Medical Center.
Events to commemorate the impact she made on the “Dash” of her life have been finalized by her beloved family. Commencing on Saturday, November 19, 2022, 6 pm - 8 pm a visitation will be held in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations, where the family will be present to receive friends and loved ones for a source of comfort.
A Celebration of Deaconess Sadie's Life and Legacy will be held 2 pm, Sunday, November 20, 2022 in the sanctuary of the St. Paul Baptist Church where she served faithful up until the time of her demise.
Deaconess Taylor and her loving family will be escorted to the Enfield Memorial Cemetery for Committal Rites.
