With genuine comfort and support, S. Jones F. and C. announce the peaceful transition of Mr. Derrick Lamont Johnson. Mr. Johnson, a skillful auto mechanic, placed his tools in the box and answered the "Master's Call" on September 18, 2025, at the ECU Medical Center.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 2 pm, Friday, September 26, 2025, in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. A public viewing will be held one hour prior to the service beginning.

Interment will take place in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
