The appointed time has arrived, and the staff of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations has been entrusted with the solemn responsibility of announcing that Miss Dorothy Epps Pittman, a native of Enfield, North Carolina, exchanged her earthly residence for her eternal home on June 4, 2026. While peacefully residing in Brooklyn, New York, she answered the Master's call and transitioned to 777 Highway 7, in that beautiful city called Heaven.

A service celebrating the life, legacy, and cherished memories of this precious jewel will begin with a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 12:00 noon.

Following the service, Miss Pittman will be lovingly laid to rest in the White Oak Baptist Church Cemetery.
