A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain,

For nothing can destroy it or take that love away 

During this moment of sadness, S. Jones F. and C. are offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Dorothy Lee Phillips Pittman as they bid farewell to a dear mother. On May 17, 2026, the Pittman family circle was forever changed when Mrs. Pittman drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior, at the ECU Medical Center.

The Services to Celebrate Her Legacy of Love will commence with a visitation, Friday, May 22, 2026 scheduled from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. This is a special opportunity for the family to connect with cherished friends and loved ones, allowing everyone to share their treasured memories and honor the remarkable life of Mrs. Pittman.

A Home Going Celebration will be held 1 pm, Saturday, May 23, 2026 in the sanctuary of the Righteous Grove Baptist Church, Enfield, NC.

Mrs. Pittman along with her loving family will be escorted to the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens for Committal Rites.
