It is with profound sorrow that S. Jones F. and C. announce the passing of Dwayne Dion Davis, known to some as "Weezie" and to many as "Lil Wayne." He succumbed to the silent chambers of death on May 28, 2025, at the ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC.
The Services of Remembrance have been finalized and will proceed as follows: A public viewing will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025, in the sanctuary of Greater Joy Baptist Church. Following the viewing, a Celebration of Life will begin at 2:30 PM.
Interment will take place in the Pineview Cemetery.
