A Mother’s love is something that no one can explain,
It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain,

It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may
For nothing can destroy it or take that love away 

During this moment of sadness, S. Jones F. and C. are offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Ida Lee Williams Howington as they bid farewell to a dear mother. On February 14, 2026, the Howington family circle was forever changed when Mrs. Howington drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior, at the Nash UNC Medical Center.

The Services to Celebrate Her Legacy of Love will commence with a visitation scheduled from 5 PM to 7 PM in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. This is a special opportunity for the family to connect with cherished friends and loved ones, allowing everyone to share their treasured memories and honor the remarkable life of Mrs. Howington.

A Home Going Celebration will be held 1 pm, Sunday, February 22, 2026 in the sanctuary of the Jerusalem Baptist Church.

Mrs. Howington along with her loving family will be escorted to the Red Hill Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
