With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. James Morgan Jr. are preparing to say “so long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this challenging task by S. Jones F. and C. Mr. Morgan, a former citizen of Enfield, NC,  departed this earthly life on October 01, 2025, while residing in Oxon Hill, MD.

The family has reserved Friday, October 17, 2025, for friends and loved ones to pay their respects during a visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, October 18, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church, Enfield, NC

Mr. Morgan and his family will be escorted to the Smith Chapel Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
