James "Bill" Williams Sr.

With heavy hearts and solemn emotions, the loved ones of Mr. James Monroe Williams Sr. are preparing to say “So Long” to a vital link to their family’s chain and are being assisted with this difficult task by S. Jones F. and C. "Bill", as he was affectionately called by his loving family and friends, put down the cares of this life on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in the serenity of his home.

The Legacy Remembering events will commence on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 for moments of visitation and reflections from 5pm until 7pm in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

A Celebration of "Bill's" Life and Legacy will be held 12 pm, Thursday, June 30, 2022 in the sanctuary of the Smith Chapel Baptist Church.

Interment will take place in the church cemetery.

Among his survivors are his loving children: Judy Modeste, Nelichall Whitaker, Cynthia Debreaux and James M. Williams Jr.; a host of grandchildren, siblings, other relatives and friends.
