It is with profound sorrow that S. Jones Funerals and Cremations announce the earthly departure of James Isaac Jones Sr. On October 26, 2022, he succumbed to the silent chambers of death, leaving the cares of this world behind, at the Wayne UNC Medical Center.
Services to commemorate the Life and Legacy of Mr. Jones will begin with a visitation 5 pm - 7 pm, Friday, November 04, 2022 at the Howell Funeral Home and Crematory, 1500 Wayne Memorial Dr, Goldsboro, NC 27534. It is during that time, family and friends can reminisce on the life of James Jones.
On Saturday, November 05, 2022, commencing at 12 noon, a Celebration of Life by the Graveside, will take place in the Eureka Cemetery, 136 E Main St. Eureka, NC.
His survivors include: his loving and devoted wife, Dora Pauline Jones; two sons, Shaun C. Jones and James I. Jones Jr.; one daughter, Alethea Anita Yelverton; two sisters, Judy Hodges and Joann Nichols; two grandsons, Quentin and Luka and a host of other loving relatives.
