Mr. James Daniel Lucas of Rocky Mount, NC, no longer answers to his name on this side of the Jordan. SJFC is comforting his loved ones with sincere compassion. "JD," as he was affectionately called, wrote the last sentence of his “Life Sketch” on August 04, 2024 while resting at Carrolton of Nash. 

On Saturday, August 10, 2024, commencing from 11am to 12pm, there will be a public visitation at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will be called to order at 12 noon.

"JD" and his loving family will be escorted to the Gardens of Gethsemane for Committal Rites.
