It has become the solemn duty of SJFC to serve notice that Mr. James Edward Garrett, Jr., affectionately called "June Bug" by his family and friends, entered into eternal rest on October 05, 2024 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Facility in Goldsboro, NC. 

Heartfelt Life Remembering Services have been planned by "June Bug's" family and will proceed thusly. On Friday, October 11, 2024, a visitation will be held in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations, 5 pm - 7 pm.

A Sentimental Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm, Saturday, October 12, 2024 in the sanctuary of the New Bethel Baptist Church.

Interment will take place in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
