It has become the sad duty of S. Jones F. and C. to announce that as of December 20, 2023, James Sledge Battle has transitioned into eternal rest at Nash UNC Medical Center.
The family will be present to acknowledge friends and loved ones during a visitation that will be held 1:30 pm - 2:00 pm, Friday, December 29, 2023 in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 2 pm.
Interment will be in the Enfield Memorial Service.
