With compassion and concern, S. Jones F. and C. announce the passing of Jermaine Antoine Smith. "J Reed" as he was affectionately called, departed this life on July 18, 2025, at Duke Medical Center.

A visitation will take place from 5 PM to 6 PM, Saturday, August 09, 2025 in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church, Sharpsburg, NC where family members will be present to welcome friends and loved ones. This will be a time to reflect on the many ways Jermaine touched our lives. Following this, we will gather for a heartfelt Celebration of Life starting at 6 PM.
