The moment has come and S. Jones F. and C. has been given the solemn duty to announce, that Mr. John Earl Blackmon is no longer troubled with the cares of this world. "Pee-Wee" as he was affectionately called by his family and friends began his life of everlasting peace on  April 18, 2024 while residing in Durham, NC.

Commencing on Saturday, April 27, 2024, between the moments of 12pm and 1pm, a time of visitation will be held in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church, Sharpsburg as Mr. Blackmon rests in peaceful repose. A Loving Farewell Service will be called to order following the visitation at 1pm concluding with Military Honors.
