As Boyz II Men penned, "It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday." It is with profound sorrow that the staff of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations joins with the Horton, Murphy and Pittman Family in mourning the unexpected passing of Mr. Keonte Daemon Murphy. Affectionately known as "Keon," his life's journey came to a sudden end on June 6, 2026, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, in the sanctuary of Greater New Testament Holy Church, where family, friends, and loved ones may gather to share memories, offer comfort, and pay tribute to a life that was lived with purpose and love.

A Celebration of Life honoring Keon's life and legacy will be held 2pm, Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Light of Peace Baptist Church.

Following the service, Committal Rites will be rendered at the graveside of Marks Chapel Church Cemetery, where he will be lovingly laid to rest.
