Mr. Lawrence Bazemore Jr. has answered the "Master's Call," embarking on a journey to everlasting peace. He transitioned from this life at ECU Tarboro Medical Center on New Year's Day, leaving behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.
Services to commemorate his legacy will commence with a visitation from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026, in the sanctuary of Batts Chapel Baptist Church, located at 5872 US-258, Tarboro, NC 27886. An inspirational wake will commence at 6:00 PM. During this period, family members and friends are encouraged to share and reflect upon the cherished moments spent with Mr. Bazemore.
A Home Going Celebration will be held 12 noon in the sanctuary of the Mildred's Chapel Baptist Church
He will be laid to rest in the Batts Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
