Lawrence Whitaker

The moment has come when S. Jones F and C must pause and inform all that Mr. Lawrence Whitaker no longer resides on this side of the Jordan river. Mr. Whitaker entered into a life of everlasting peace on October 06, 2024 while resting at the Rocky Mount Rehab.

Services to Celebrate his Life and Legacy will begin with a visitation, 11 am - 12 pm, Monday, October 14, 2024 in the sanctuary of the Greater Saints Chapel Baptist Church. Following the visitation, a Service of Remembrance will begin at 12 noon.

Interment with Military Honors will be held in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Gardens, Goldsboro, NC.

*The Family will be receiving friends at 203 King George Ave. Nashville, NC 27856, Thursday, October 10, 2024 and Sunday, October 13, 2024 from 6pm-8pm both days.*
