Lendon Clendon Coppage, affectionately known as "Shot Gun" by his loving family and many friends, laid down his hardworking hands and entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2026, when he peacefully departed this earthly life in the comfort of his daughter's home.

Services to commemorate his life and lasting legacy will begin with a Public Viewing on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. A Farewell Service celebrating his life will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m., immediately following the public viewing.

The family is receiving friends and loved ones at 840 Nashville Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27803, where they welcome all who wish to visit, offer their condolences, and keep them uplifted in prayer during this time of bereavement.
