Miss Pettaway peacefully answered the Master's Call on October 12, 2025, at the ECU Edgecombe Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Services to honor her life will begin with a public viewing on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, as she lies in repose at the altar of the St. Luke Church of Christ in Princeville, NC. Following the public viewing, a Celebration of Life ceremony will commence at 2:00 PM.
Committal Rites will take place at the Dancy Community Cemetery.
