During this moment of sadness, S. Jones F. and C. are offering genuine comfort to the remaining loved ones of Mrs. Linda Faye Smith Brown as they bid farewell to a dear mother. On October 22, 2025, the Smith/Brown family circle was forever changed when Mrs. Brown drifted off to sleep in the arms of her Savior, at the ECU Medical Center in Greenville, with all four of her children by her side..

Services to honor her Legacy of Love will commence with a public viewing, 12 pm - 1 pm, as she lies in repose at the altar of the Salvation and Deliverance Church. Following the public viewing, a Celebration of Life will begin at 1 pm.

She will be laid to rest in the Eastlawn Cemetery.
