Another lovely rose was added to Heaven's bouquet on June 1, 2026, when the Master Gardener, Jesus Christ, gently called Miss Lizzie Lee Dancy from this earthly garden to bloom eternally with Him in Glory.

Services Remembering a Life Well-Lived will begin with a public viewing on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., as Miss Dancy lies in sweet repose at the altar of Red Hill Baptist Church, Whitakers, North Carolina.

Following the viewing, a Service of Celebration honoring the life and legacy of Miss Dancy will be called to order at 1:00 p.m.
