Lynwood "Rico" Jenkins III Obituary
The Book of Job conveys the message, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away; blessed be the name of the Lord." It is with profound sadness that S. Jones F. and C. announce the passing of Mr. Lynwood Jenkins III. Affectionately known as "Rico" by his devoted family and numerous friends, he concluded his earthly journey on September 18, 2025, at the ECU Medical Center in Greenville, NC. Rico's legacy of joy in fishing and hunting lives on in the memories he created with all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 5 PM to 7 PM in the Reposing Room of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. During this time, you are welcome to reminisce about the wonderful moments shared with Rico.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 pm, Saturday, September 27, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Greater Saints Chapel Baptist Church.
Committal Rites will take place at the graveside of the Greater Saints Chapel Church Cemetery.
