With heartfelt sympathy and sincere compassion, S. Jones Funerals and Cremations joins the Battle family in honoring the life and legacy of Malcom Dwaine Battle. On May 18, 2026, Mr. Battle quietly stepped from the cares of this earthly life into a life of everlasting peace.

Services honoring the life and legacy of Mr. Battle will begin with a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026, in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.

A Farewell Tribute will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the sanctuary of Pleasure Hill Baptist Church, Whitakers, North Carolina.

Following the service, Committal Rites will be rendered at the Battle Family Cemetery, where Mr. Battle will be laid to rest.
