Margaret "Shawty Low" Taylor Obituary

The moment in time has arrived and S. Jones F. and C. has been asked to announce to all that Mrs. Margaret Lee Hill Taylor has permanently changed her address to 777 Highway 7, in that beautiful city called Heaven. Known as "Shawty Low" to some and "Ma" to many boarded what she sang about so many times, the Old Ship of Zion on May 07, 2024 while peacefully resting at the Carrolton of Nash.


The Legacy Remembering events  to honor her Life and the Gifts she has impacted the community with, will commence on Monday, May 13, 2024 with moments of visitation from 5pm until 7pm, as Mrs. Taylor rests in sweet repose in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.


A Service of Triumph will be held 11 am, Tuesday, May 14, 2024 in the sanctuary of the Red Hill Baptist Church.


Mrs. Taylor earthen remains will be laid to rest in the Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
