The book of Job declared, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." With many having mixed emotions and understandably broken hearts, S. Jones F. and C. have the profound honor of announcing the passing of Missionary Delphine Moore Wilkins. After a courageous and inspiring battle, she earned her angelic wings on August 13, 2025, surrounded by love at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering Services for this precious jewel has been finalized and will proceed thusly. On Thursday, August 21, 2025, a visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations chapel. During this time, the family will be present to receive and acknowledge the many friends and loved ones who wish to pay their respects and celebrate a life of remarkable significance.

A service of celebration will be held to honor the extraordinary life of a true missionary. This service will be held at 12 PM on Friday, August 22, 2025, in the sanctuary of St. Paul Baptist Church. Join the family as they pay tribute to a life devoted to serving others and spreading hope.

Interment will take place in the Elmwood Cemetery.
