Psalm 116:15 beautifully reminds us, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints." Today, the Heavenly Host joyfully celebrates the arrival of a cherished new saint, Missionary Mamie Louise Solomon Jenkins. On October 9, 2025, Missionary Jenkins made the courageous transition from her earthly life to a glorious existence in heaven, finding peace at Wilson Health Care and Rehabilitation. Her legacy of faith and service will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her.

Services to honor the life and legacy of Missionary Jenkins will begin with a public viewing from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Sunday, October 19, 2025, as she lies in state at the altar of the Greater Saints Chapel Baptist Church. Following the public viewing, a Homegoing Celebration will commence at 2:30 PM.

Missionary Jenkins earthly remains will be laid to rest in the Greater Saints Chapel Church Cemetery.
