As the Angelic Hosts rejoice with the arrival of another Precious Gem, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness, as a result of this tremendous loss. The Ricks' family circle was forever changed, January 28, 2025, when Mother Dorothy Gray Cloyd Ricks boarded what she sang about so many times, the Old Ship of Zion, while peacefully resting in the comfort of her home.

Services Remembering a Life Well-Lived will begin with a public viewing on Sunday, February 09, 2025, 1 pm - 2 pm, as Mother Ricks lie in sweet repose at the altar of the Red Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Following the public viewing, a Service to Celebrate Mother Ricks' Legacy of Love will be called to order at 2 pm.

Mother Ricks and her loving family will be escorted to the church cemetery for Committal Rites.
