As the Angelic Hosts rejoices with the arrival of another amazing woman of God, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness as a result of this loss, but heaven's gain. The Lyons family circle was forever changed early February 24, 2021 when Mother Louise Lyons quietly went to sleep in the bosom of Jesus Christ while resting in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Louise Lyons was a dedicated Mother at the St. Matthew Baptist Church where she shared her musical talents by serving as a church musician. She also played the piano for other local churches in the Edgecombe County area.
The services that will honor this priceless jewel have been methodically orchestrated by her loving family and will proceed in the following order. Beginning on Monday, March 01, 2021 Mother Lyons will lie in state 4 pm - 7 pm in the reposing room of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations for friends and loved ones to come pay their respects during a "Walk Through Viewing".
A Service to Pay Honor and Tribute to Her Life and Legacy will be held 11 am, Tuesday, March 02, 2021 in the sanctuary of the St. Matthew Baptist Church, 813 New Hope Church Rd. Battleboro, NC 27809.
She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
