Mr. Raymond"Buster" Cherry

With heavy hearts, S. Jones F. and C. share the poignant news of the passing of the beloved Patriarch of the Cherry Family. Mr. Raymond Cherry, fondly known as "Mr. Buster," was not only a passionate baseball player but also a cherished figure in our lives. He departed this life on August 9, 2025, while under the care of medical professionals at the ECU Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.

Services to Honor His Legacy of Love will commence with a visitation, 5pm - 7 pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025, in the chapel of S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. The family will be present to greet friends and loved ones as they share memories and reminisce about the good times.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm, Sunday, August 24, 2025 in the sanctuary of the Daniels Chapel Baptist Church.

Interment will follow in the Cherry's Family Section of Daniels Chapel Church Cemetery.
