Parrish "Pap" Pittman Obituary
A psalmist once penned these comforting words: "One of these mornings, and it won't be long, you'll look for me and I'll be gone. I'm going to a place where I'll have nothing to do but walk around Heaven all day."
With hearts filled with sorrow, yet grateful for God's perfect will, the Pittman, Everette and Hanson families announce that on June 26, 2026, Parrish Chasse Pittman affectionately known as "Pap," exchanged the cares of this earthly life for the peace and joy of eternity. Though our hearts are heavy with his passing, they are also filled with gratitude that God, in His infinite wisdom, blessed Parrish with 36 years to love, laugh, and create treasured memories with his family and friends.
Services to Honor a Life Well Lived will begin with a Visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, as Parrish lies in repose at the altar of Harts Chapel Baptist Church. During this sacred hour, family and friends are invited to pay their respects, share cherished memories, and celebrate the life of one so dearly loved. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life Service will commence promptly at 3:00 p.m., as together we gather to honor Parrish's life and legacy.
*The family respectfully requests that absolutely no T-shirts be worn during the visitation or Celebration of Life service. Your cooperation in honoring their wishes is sincerely appreciated.*
