Raleigh Evans Jr.

With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, S. Jones F. and C. joins with the family of Mr. Raleigh Evans Jr. as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Evans transitioned from this life to a life of eternal peace on October 05, 2023.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Life Remembering Services for Raleigh have been finalized. A visitation will be held 6 pm - 8 pm Friday, October 13, 2023 in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church Sharpsburg, NC. During that time, friends and loved ones can pay their respect and express their condolences to the family.

A Service of Love will be held 11 am, Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church.

Mr. Evans and his loving family will be escorted to the Ivory Hill Baptist Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.

Among his survivors is his mother, Rosalind Evans; children: Raleigh Evans III, Roger Evans, Melody Evans, MaKhylan Evans and Makellyah Best; his sisters: Lisa Evans, Connie Evans, Barbara Wells, Mary Hines, Olivia Evans, Dywanda Evans; his brothers: Ronald Hamiel, Timothy Evans, Donald Edwards Jr., Roger Evans, Jimmie Evans, Richard Petty III and William Edwards; and a host loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
