Obituary
With heavy hearts, the Evans family announces that Mr. Robert Lawrence Evans departed this earthly life on September 09, 2023 in the serenity of his home and he is now singing with the Angels in his new home.
The family will be present to acknowledge friends and loved ones during a visitation that will be held 5 pm - 7 pm, Friday, September 15, 2023 in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.
A Celebration of Life will be held 1 pm, Saturday, September 16, 2023 in the sanctuary of the Pines Chapel Baptist Church, Hollister, NC.
Interment will take place in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Among his survivors are his wife, Bernice Evans, his children: Stacy Johnson, Tracy Bryant and Mark Evans and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
