Bowing in humbled submission to the will of our Heavenly Father, it has become the solemn responsibility of S. Jones F. and C. to share that Mrs. Shirley Whitaker Warren is now resting in paradise. Deaconess Warren put down the cares of this life and transitioned into eternal rest on August 04, 2024.

Mrs. Warren was a retired, devoted educator in the Halifax County Public School System for 44 years.

The “Dash” between Shirley’s year of birth and year of leaving this world will be honored on Thursday, August 08, 2024, at 1pm, in the sanctuary of the First Baptist Church, where she served faithfully on the board of Deacons.

Deaconess Warren and her loving family will be escorted to the Elmwood Cemetery for Committal Rites.
