As difficult as the loss of a loved one is, it’s extremely difficult during the holiday season. S. Jones F. and C. have been asked to announce to all that Miss Towanda Lakisha Sledge gained her Angelic Wings on November 21, 2025, while peacefully resting in the comfort of her home.

Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Miss Sledge's life, which was from her time of birth until the moment she entered into everlasting rest, are finalized by her cherished family. Miss Sledge will lie in state at the altar of the Greater New Testament Holy Church, 5 pm- 7 pm, Friday, November 28, 2025, for those who would like to come and pay their respects during the visitation, where the family will be present to acknowledge their many friends and other loved ones.

A Service to Honor Towanda's Legacy of Love will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the sanctuary of the Greater New Testament Holy Church.

Interment will occur on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Pineview Cemetery, in accordance with the holiday scheduling of the facility.
