As difficult as the loss of a loved one is, it’s extremely difficult during the holiday season. SJFC has been asked to announce to all that Trustee Floyd Pitchford permanently changed his address to 777 Highway 7, in that beautiful city called Heaven, as of November 25, 2024. Since then, he found his seat around God's Throne, giving his testimony on how he made it over.

Mr. Floyd Pitchford was the proud and successful owner of Pitchford Repairs and Pitchford Rentals.

Services to reflect on “The Dash” of Mr. Pitchford's life, which was from his time of birth until the moment he entered into everlasting rest, are finalized by his cherished family. Trustee Pitchford will lie in state in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations, 5 pm - 7 pm, Friday, November 29, 2024 for a visitation. During this time, family and friends can embrace one another and reminisce on the good ole times.

A Service to Honor Trustee Floyd Pitchford's Life and Legacy will be held 12 pm, Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the sanctuary of the White Oak Baptist Church, where he served faithfully in so many capacities of the church.

Following the Celebration of Life in the sanctuary, Mr. Pitchford's earthen vessel, along with his adored family, will be escorted to the White Oak Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
